ENRICH

With financial assistance and support ENRICH program is being implemented in the Shombagh union under Dhamrai Upazila since 2010. The main objective of the program is the overall development of a family. It works for the socio-economic development, health and nutrition and education of each and every family of the 21 villages under the Union. The program is being run by 13 full time and 56 part-time workers. Regular eye camps and dental camps are being organized with assistance from local caregivers and institutions. Satellite clinics are held in each and every village supported by motorized van-mounted pharmacies from which medicines are sold at fair prices.

Other support services like non-formal education for pre-school children, firewood saving ovens for cooking, solar powered lamps, bio-gas, improving lives of senior citizens through various activities are being implemented as well.
